• Am I allowed to bring my own fuel to my boat?

  Yes and no. You may bring your own fuel (via gas cans, etc) for your boat, but you must be at the fuel dock in order to do so. No one will judge you, especially with the rising costs! The fuel dock has the necessary equipment to handle a spill or accident while you fuel your boat with your own fuel. Just let the fuel dock crew know you're filling your boat with your own fuel so they are aware.

• Am I allowed to fish within the marina?

  Fishing within the marina boundaries while in a boat is allowed, just as long as you don't get near the docks. Fishing from the docks is prohibited unless you are tenant of Bald Ridge Marina.

• Do I have to check in with the guards when visiting the marina?

  Yes, all visitors must check it at the main gate upon entering the marina. Tenants have a special pass that allows them to enter without stopping, but even they must check in at the main entrance if they forget their pass.

• Do you have trailer storage?

  No. The only area where trailers are allowed are in the parking lot for launch ramps. The trailers must stay attached to the tow vehicle while in the marina.

• Do you offer transient slips?

  Yes, we do have some transient slips available for short term stays. The price per day is $1 per foot of boat length. (ex: a 19' boat would cost $19 per day). Electricity is available at transient slips for $5 per day.

• How do I become a registered user of the site?

  To be a registered user, all you have to do is click on "Sign Up" at the top of the screen. This is a useful tool for tenants of Bald Ridge Marina. A registered user will receive marina updates, and it also allows for a tenant to add more information such as additional contact information and emergency contact information. Marina management would use that information to update our marina software for that tenant.

• How do I cancel my lease?

  A written 30 day notice is required to cancel your lease. The cancellation process cannot begin without the written notice. You will be charged for 30 days of dockage from the date of written cancellation regardless of when the boat actually leaves the marina.

• How do I sign up to receive Marina Updates?

  Simply scroll to the bottom of any page on the web site and look for the sign up box on the right side. Enter your e-mail address in the box and click Subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time, and your e-mail will never be given out.

• If my lease is terminated for any reason, do I get my security deposit back?

  No. Any money owed to the marina will be paid from your deposit and the remainder will be forfeited.

• Is swimming allowed within the marina?

  No, swimming is NOT allowed. It's very dangerous to swim within the marina due to being run over by a boat, electrical shock, under water hazards, and even snakes. Swimming is prohibited in the marina and would cause the termination of your lease.

• Is there a list of vendors approved to work within Bald Ridge Marina?

  Yes. You can view the list here. All the vendors on this list have the proper requirements necessary to perform work within Bald Ridge Marina. Only Approved Vendors are allowed to work within the marina.

• What are the hours of the marina office?

  Our office is open M-F from 9 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. You can see our hours of operation for all Marina Services by clicking here.

• What do I do with my dock box when I cancel?

  Make sure the dock box is empty when you leave. Anything left behind will be kept for a short period of time and then discarded. You will receive a refund for any unused portion of rent for the dock box.

• What if I am late making a payment?

  Any payment received after the 10th of the month, there will be a finance charge of 1.5% monthly added to your account. After 30 days, your lease will be terminated and you will have to leave the marina.

• What is the fee to use the launch ramp, and is my annual pass accepted?

  The fee to use the launch ramp is $4 per day. Everyone has to pay the $4 fee. The annual passes are strictly for Corps operated parks and therefore not accepted at marinas.

• When and how will I receive my refund?

  Your refund check will be written and mailed within 30 days from the date your boat leaves the marina. Please make sure that the address we have for you is where you want to the check to be mailed.

• When are my paments due?

  All payments are due on the 1st of every month. Dockage must be paid on time to renew your lease. Electricity is to be paid monthly.

• Why am I receiving a bill for electricity?

  Every slip is metered and billed monthly for electricity. Everyone receives a meter base charge of $11.25 whether power is used or not. Any usage of power is billed in addition to the meter base charge.
